Fenders of RDD, RDC, RSC, RSD types are called Extruded Fenders. Extrusion is a production process. It includes forcing an unvulcanized rubber backing through special spinnerets (matrices) to form a profile with constant cross section. It is a simple and economically effective way to produce fenders of small size fenders and profiles of a very big length. Besides the standard extruded fenders, special profiles may be economically produced in accordance with the customer's demand.

Fenders of RDD and RDC types may be previously curved, beveled or drilled at to simplify the installation at a low price and may be also cut to the demanded length. They provide perfect damage protection for the ships of all shapes and size. They perfectly suit for small berths and wharfs for fishing vessels, tugboats, barges and other swimming devices. Fenders of RDD and RDC types are also used at the pontoons and inland waterways for gateway protection.

Extruded fenders of RSC and RSD types.

Squared fenders have all advantages of RDD type and usually used where more solid fender is needed.

Squared profile adds harder cogs that make it perfect for installation at severe wheather conditions. Squared fenders of RKK and RKD types are often used as encircling fenders and installed at the bow or stern of small tugboats as pushing (amortising) fenders. They may be installed close to each other, that allows to reduce the risk of entry of rope and other projecting elements between the adjacent sections of structure.

GENERAL CHARACTERS OF FENDERS OF RSC AND RSD TYPES:

  • Suitable for installation in severe weather conditions.

  • Easy to assemble at the berths with anchors.

  • May be produced of big length, cut to the necessary size, cut under the angle at the edges.
